2. Call for Proposal
IFITT Talk @Nankai workshop on “Smart tourism, we are on the way” will be held online on September 10, 2021 (GMT+8), by Nankai University, China.
The event is free for all presenters. A PhD proposal with the maximum of 5 pages including references are welcome to submit. A research panel will review all proposals and select maximal 15 proposals for the pitch session. The proposal should be written in English.
The top three best proposals will be selected and invited to participate in ENTER2022(https://enter-conference.org) with free registration.

4. Speakers
(1) Cathy Hsu
Editor-in-chief, Tourism Management
Cathy Hsu is the Editor-in-chief of the journal "Tourism Management", and the Chair Professor of Hospitality and Tourism Marketing in the School of Hotel and Tourism Management at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU). She has obtained numerous extramural and intramural grants and has over 200 refereed publications. She has served as a consultant to various organizations, such as the Hong Kong Tourism Board, World Tourism Organization, and Kansas Travel and Tourism Development Division.
(2) Sai Liang
Associate Professor, College of Tourism and Service Management, Nankai University
Sai Liang is Associate Professor of Tourism Management in College of Tourism and Service Management at Nankai University. His research interests include tourism big data, online reviews and sharing economy. He has obtained several grants from National Natural Science Foundation of China and Ministry of Education of China. He has published more than 10 papers in leading journals such as ATR, TM, IJHM and IJCHM. Five of his papers has been identified as ESI highly cited papers and ESI hot papers.
(3) Yoo Ri Kim
Lecturer, School of Hospitality and Tourism Management, University of Surrey
Yoo Ri Kim is a Lecturer in Hospitality Management. She gained her BSc in Geography with Economic at the London School of Economics and Political Science and MSc in International Tourism Development at the University of Surrey. At the same university, she completed her doctoral degree on spatial clustering and productivity in the hospitality and tourism industry, funded by the ESRC. Yoo Ri is continuing her research on productivity and performance, and expanding her research expertise into big data and innovation in the hospitality and tourism industry.
